MA SANTÉ [Better Access to Health Care] is a Cameroonian NGO based in Yaoundé. It was created in 2006 with the objective of contributing to improving access to health care in Cameroon through research, training and the implementation of health interventions. Its activities are organized from its head office in Yaoundé and its decentralized sites based at the annex regional hospital of Kousseri (Far North, Cameroon), at the CMA of Congo I (Douala, Cameroon), in the health district of Mogodé (Far North, Cameroon) and Foumban health district (West, Cameroon).

MA SANTÉ is implementing the project "Reducing the morbidity and mortality of CoVID-19 in Cameroon (REMMOCC)" with funding from the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) through IMC (International Medical Corps); as part of the “Global Health Security agenda” project. The current phase of the project is being implemented in the city of Douala to strengthen community-based disease prevention and epidemiological surveillance in health facilities. It plans an end-of-activities survey in September to assess the benefits of the project in the communities and health facilities. For this activity, the organization needs 15 Investigators for the period from September 14 to 19, 2021 in the city of Douala.

 

The eligibility conditions are as follows:

Have a degree in health,

Able to speak French and English,

Have a good command of community activities,

Have experience in data collection,

Not be under contract or in the process of carrying out an activity that could limit availability for inquiry.

Composition of the application file:

CV of two pages maximum;

Cover letter of one page;

Certified copy of the National Identity Card;

Copies of the highest diploma;

All documents attesting to experience in the field.
