Mission/ Core purpose of the Job: (Short description):

- Analyze international roaming business performances including roaming margins, and propose solutions to achieve targets

- Perform end to end roaming business controls and propose solutions to avoid revenue, cost and margin leakages for MTN Cameroon

- Manage issues and complaints from partners and customers related to inbound and outbound roaming

 

Operational Delivery:

• Generation of qualitative pipeline via permanent customer needs assessment via discovery visits and workshops

• Design, pricing and technical proposal writing of complex customer solutions

• Conduct Proof of concept, demo and deliver high quality presentations of solutions (or speak to customer events)

 

Key Performance Indicators

• Coordinate commercial relationship between MTN Cameroon and MTN GlobalConnect related to international roaming services, products and coverage

•Coordinate relationship between MTN Cameroon, operators worldwide and the clearing house to fix issues and complaints

•Act as a trusted advisor and technical consultant for all products and technologies related to international roaming

• Monitor competitors’ international roaming products and services and propose strategies to be leader in Cameroon

• Propose strategies to achieve international roaming revenue and cost targets

• Follow up international roaming financial settlement with MTN GlobalConnect and the clearing house

• Monitor international outbound and inbound roaming margin per month; propose actions to fix the cases of negative margin and provide related reports

•Monitor international roaming performances on a daily and monthly basis; propose actions to fix the Gaps and provide related reports

• Perform end to end controls on revenue and cost traffic for inbound and outbound roaming on a weekly basis

• Coordinate international roaming projects between MTN Cameroon and other parties

 

Education:

•Minimum of 03 years degree/Engineering in Telecommunications or equivalent

•Fluent in language of country with basic command of English

 

 

Experience:

- Minimum of 03 years’ experience in traffic and statistics management

- Minimum 03 years experience in commercial roaming management

- Minimum 03 years experience in roaming pricing

- Minimum 02 years experience in interconnect environment

 

Training:

- Commercial negotiation

- Product management

- Traffic management

- Risk Management

- CCNA/ICND 1 fundamentals of networking

- MTN P10 Closed Loop Feedback

- MIS

- Line/ Employee Effectiveness
