Job Brief:

Corporate Communication & Marketing Professional Intern or Trainee has into his hands the duty to nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness and develop an enviable corporate image by developing and executing effective communication and media relations for Visionary Technology Company.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a marketing communication plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics

• Develop media relations strategy, and seek high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media

• Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media

• Work with social media team to effectively engage audiences across traditional and online media.

• Develop content in both French & English for VTC’s clients & partner websites and especially for blogs

• Respond to  media inquiries and interview requests, as well facilitating press interviews

• Create content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations

• Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a monthly basis.

• Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness

• Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them

Skills Required:

• Be pursuing your dream job by recently completing your Degree or Diploma in Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing or Marketing

• Experience working with Microsoft Office products

• Work smart by managing multiple priorities with deadlines in a constantly changing environment

• Be quick to respond to requests for service from all  clients

• Genuinely care about people

•  A high level of integrity  and trustworthiness

• Have  superior interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
