Context
3DC COOP CA is a newly created Micro Finance Institution (MFI) Category 1 with its Head Office
situated at FEU ROUGE CHAPPEL NSIMEYONG in Yaounde.

Among other conventional financial products like savings accounts, current accounts, Loan
Accounts, Financial counseling, 3DC COOP CA is going beyond banking to render to the public, top
quality and adaptable services to meet your needs. That is why 3DC is now your everyday Financial

In view of launching our operations in Cameroon, 3DC COOP CA is seeking a qualified and
experienced candidate to occupy the position of CHIEF ACCOUNTANT at its Head Office in
Yaoundé.
As Chief Accountant the candidate should be knowledgeable about the Cameroon tax laws, OHADA
and COBAC Accounting principles.
Mastery of financial accounting standards and internal controls and accounts reconciliation will be
assets.
Key Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities on the role:
? Analyzes revenue and expenditure trends, make recommendations and appropriate
measures to control expenditure and avoid income leakage by putting checks as deem fit.
? Develop, maintain and analyze budgets (Head Office and Branches), preparing periodic
reports that compare budgets to realizations. Make forecasts and advise management
accordingly.
? Compile and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts with appropriate
supporting documentation, general ledger monitoring, and follow up to eliminate suspense

Reconciliation of accounts; banks, transit accounts, inter-branch, League and accounting of
all bank products.
? Consolidation of Financial statements and prepare notes to the accounts.
? Manage the needs in treasury of branch and forecast daily and periodic needs
? Perform Head Teller Operations
? Regularly make bank deposits against receipt for archives.
? Ensure the safeguard of current and non-current assets, to ensure traceability and security.
? Assets Management / depreciation/ Inspection and count
? Participate in the end of period closure; month, quarter ,semester and year, and prepare
timely, accurate and reliable financial reports
? Ensures the respect of procedure for company, CNPS Pensions and civil servant salary
treatment and compensation.



? Carries out the accounting control functions in branches to prevent and detect fraud and
other irregularities.
? Other duties as may be assigned by management
Qualification and Skills
? To have at least a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance; MBA will be an asset
? To have at least two years of experience in an Accounting/Finance and internal Control
position
? Experience in a financial institution is an added advantage
? Good working knowledge in Excel and Microsoft Word; Knowledge in any banking software
would be an asset (ALPHA Micro Finance is a plus)
? knowledge of computerized accounting;
? Bilingual : English and French;(This would be tested)
? Strong analytical skills;



? Ability to deliver under pressure and in a team fostered environment.
