JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose of the position 

The Field Assistant Tapping is responsible for organizing, planning and coordinating tapping activities in the plantations under the supervision of the Director of Plantations.

 

General missions 

-  Identify areas and blocks to bleed

- Marking the trees

- Organize the bleeding

- Proceed with the phytosanitary treatment of the trees.

Main activities 

- Train the tappers

- Supervise teams of tappers

- Coordinate the collection of latex and its transport to the factory

- Ensure compliance with work and tree protection rules to ensure the collection of good quality latex

- Ensure the supervision of teams and the protection of work equipment

- Reporting

PREREQUISITES

- Education BAC + 3 minimum or -equivalent diploma in the field of agriculture

- Experience 03 years minimum

Professional skills

- To know the environment of the rubber tree culture well, to master the techniques of bleeding and to have a know - how in the agricultural field

Know-how

- Be of good character, ambitious and be able to work under pressure
