What is eFarm.cm?

eFarm.cm powered by GericomGroup Ltd is a web and mobile platform for buying and selling agricultural produces. It allows access to agricultural produces from Cameroon and Africa to the rest of world. We’re headquartered in Douala, Cameroon with a branch office in Kinshasa DRC.

 

The Role

As a Full Stack developer at eFarm.cm you will be required to design and build databases for software applications; create, and deploy database-backed web APIs, and secure and manage user authentication and access control for an application backend. Also, into Front end development, Server, API, and version controlling systems. You will provide services needed by the Mobile Developer.

 

Requirements & Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Mastery of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript. Knowledge of third-party libraries like jQuery, LESS, Angular 7+ and ReactJS.
• least one server-side programming languages like Java, Python, etc
• Knowledge of various DBMS technology like MySQL, SQLServer, etc and Knowledge of caching mechanisms like varnish, Memcached, Redis is a plus.
• basic prototype design and UI /UX design
• knowledge of Git
• handling Apache or nginx servers is desirable. A good background in Linux
• Knowledge of web services or API(REST and SOAP)
• An awareness of security concerns(Oauth2)
• Knowledge of java framework like Spring boot2, Spring Kafka, Spring, etc

Essential:

Proven working experience in software development

Bachelor degree or other technical training in computer science or in a related field

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines(Time management skill)
