Job Role Summary

The General Services Administrator reports to the Facilities Superintendent and has the following responsibilities:

·         Coordinate all field logistics service requests such as receipt, verification, timely processing and promote the good use of Logistics tools and processes

·         Coordinate the planning, scheduling and execution of maintenance activities such as camp facilities, light vehicles and heavy equipment and Oil Spill Response boats

·         Provide daily supervision of various contractors (Camp maintenance, Light vehicles and Heavy Equipment maintenance, projects or any other activities)

·         Ensure conformance and compliance with respect to Operating Procedures

·         Act as backup of the Douala-based Logistics Coordinator as may be required on weekends, public holidays to ensure flight manifests are printed and dispatched as required

This is a field rotational assignment.

Expected Level of Proficiency

The candidate must have a Higher National Diploma (HND) or Brevet Technicien Superieur (BTS) or equivalent level education with proven work experience of 05 years in Logistics, Industrial/Manufacturing or Oil industry.

Must be able to speak English and French, with the ability to communicate in English and French over the phone and via email.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Proficiency or knowledge in SAP/IPES is an added advantage
