Background
Caritas NWSW is the specialized agency of the Bishops of the Church Province of
Bamenda that is coordinating development and Humanitarian interventions.

Caritas in the Church Province of Bamenda has rapidly grown into the league of
foremost development institutions in the NWSW. Clearly evident in her tracts is
the increasing number of lives and communities that have been impacted or
transformed through her interventions.
Leveraging the Church’s structure Caritas NWSW serves as the umbrella
organization for all the Diocesan Caritas of the Church in the Ecclesia Province
through which the implementation of development-oriented programs and
humanitarian interventions are carried out.
Caritas NWSW is also a member of Caritas Cameroon and Caritas Internationalis
that share a common mission and have literally touched every part of the
world over the last century.
CARITAS NWSW is hiring the services of both men and women that are of working
age into the following managerial/responsibility positions for the implementation
of the above objectives of this project in the North West and South West Regions
of Cameroon.

Department Summary
Work closely with the field officers in the following Divisions; Fako, Manyu,
Meme, Mezam, Boyo, Menchum and Donga & Matung.
Essential Job Function
• Assist in sensitization and mobilization of the target population about the
UNCHR/NWSW and the project objectives.

 

• Assist the field officer and other research teams in implementation of the
project in their respective communities.
• Mediate the activities of the project with local authorities
• Work closely with field officer and project coordinators in identifying the
target population for the project.
• Ensure security and safety of aids pending distribution
• Provide feedback response about perception of the project by the
communities and post project implementation response.
• Ensures field activities or aid is rightly benefitted to the target population,
participate in selection of beneficiaries
• Assist in data collection and focal person for feedback response

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
• At least Ordinary Level.
• Should be influential and must be an indigene from Mezam, Boyo,
Menchum, Donga-Mantung, Meme, Manyu, Fako divisions of the North
West and South West Regions of Cameroon.

distribution/allocation of aids to the right beneficiaries.
• Ensure security and safety of aids pending distribution
• Provide feedback response about perception of the project by the
communities and post project implementation response to CARITAS NWSW
office.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
• At least an Ordinary Level Certificate.
• Should be influential and must live in the Mezam, Boyo, Menchum,
Donga-Mantung, Meme, Manyu, Fako divisions of the North West and
South West Regions of Cameroon.
