Background
Caritas NWSW is the specialized agency of the Bishops of the Church Province of
Bamenda that is coordinating development and Humanitarian interventions.
Caritas in the Church Province of Bamenda has rapidly grown into the league of
foremost development institutions in the NWSW. Clearly evident in her tracts is
the increasing number of lives and communities that have been impacted or
transformed through her interventions.
Leveraging the Church’s structure Caritas NWSW serves as the umbrella
organization for all the Diocesan Caritas of the Church in the Ecclesia Province
through which the implementation of development-oriented programs and
humanitarian interventions are carried out.
Caritas NWSW is also a member of Caritas Cameroon and Caritas Internationalis
that share a common mission and have literally touched every part of the
world over the last century.
CARITAS NWSW is hiring the services of both men and women that are of working
age into the following managerial/responsibility positions for the implementation
of the above objectives of this project in the North West and South West Regions
of Cameroon.

Department Summary
The drivers shall be answerable to CARITAS NWSW in carrying out safe driving
activities, maintenance and safety of the Organizations’ vehicles and
documentations.
Essential Job Function
• Readily available to drive project team(s) to their executive sites
• Supervising maintenance and servicing of their respective vehicles
• Totally in charge of the safety of CARITAS NWSW vehicles
• Purchase and updates of Vehicles relevant documents
• Assist in other relevant duties in CARITAS NWSW

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
• Applicant should be a holder of minimum Advanced level certificate.
• Hold at least category B driver’s licenses with active driving skills of at least 5
years
• Should be very efficient and experienced in driving on earth and tarred
roads, especially roads leading to hard-to-reach areas.

 

• Have strong knowledge and experience about driving code in Cameroon
• Should be fluent in English language and Pidgin English

Department Summary
The House Keepers shall be answerable to CARITAS NWSW in ensuring general
hygiene and sanitation of the CARITAS NWSW within and external environment.
Essential Job Function
• Cleaning of offices using prescribed cleaning tools/agents
• Should be time conscious in discharging his/her duties on time (early
enough) before start office work each day
• Cleaning of the institution’s environment
• Cleaning of rest rooms
• Assist in other relevant duties in CARITAS NWSW

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
• No educational qualification is needed but applicant should be of good
composure and responsible.
• Good articulation and comprehension of English language is of added
advantage
