Responsibilities

The team leader is responsible and accountable to lead the mechanical workgroup in safety, installation and maintenance of all rotating equipment.

• Assist in monitoring the technical performance of assets against agreed indicators in own discipline.
• Complete all mechanical projects on daily basis using the utmost safety procedures.
• Prioritize mechanical work request of equipment needing preventive of reactive maintenance to prevent any impact to the environment.
• Promptly report any oil or chemical spills and then take appropriate action to contain
• Work with the maintenance team to maintain electrical and instrumentation associated with mechanical equipment to consistently improve runtime
• Work with craft to complete maintenance preventive schedule
• Maintain an adequate inventory of rotating equipment spare parts stock to prevent downtime

Essential for efficient runtime of critical equipment, pumps, compressors and generators in *** Production Unit. Continuous on the job training for junior technicians.

 Two process platforms and ten outline platforms including:

50 pumps ranging from 5-300 HP, total of 4036 HP

13 main and standby generators.

14 Generators totaling 9.1 MW

06 Solar Turbine/Compressors

02 Fast Response Boats

06 Air compressors

• Maintain contacts with other disciplines ahd with (limited) third parties on strictly technical matters.
• Work with engineering team to develop the adequate replacement or new installation of rotating equipment.
• Review plans and inspect equipment to ensure compliance with mechanical standards.

Educational Requirements

Preferably BAC graduate in Technical field

Experience Requirements

10 years Mechanical and/or production operations experience and extensive knowledge of oilfield processes.

Additional Requirements

• Operate and maintain ageing equipments to meet production target and safeguard its technical integrity.
• Operate in multi-cultural environment.
• Promote staff/contractor awareness of safety, health and environmental issues.
• Active member in STOP and any behavioural based program
• Support the unit leaders to enable the achievement of goals and targets
