OPEN CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE RECRUITMENT OF A COMPANY THAT WILL BE REQUIRED TO DESIGN, BUILD, LAUNCH AND MAINTAIN A WEBSITE FOR THE EMBASSY OF KOREA IN CAMEROON ON THE OCCASION OF THE 60^th ANNIVERSARY OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS BETWEEN CAMEROON AND KOREA

1-      Purpose of the call for proposals

On the occasion of the celebration of the 60^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cameroon and Korea, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea launches an open call for proposals for the recruitment of a company under Cameroonian law that will be required to design, build, launch and maintain a website developed for this purpose.

2-      Statement of requirements

2-1 The website should include, without limitation, the following sections and sub-sections:

·         Home;

·         About Korea (About the Republic of Korea, Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Cameroon, Related Government Organizations in Cameroon, Korea’s Response to COVID-19);

·         Cameroon-Korea Relations (Cameroon-Korea Bilateral Relations, Cooperation Projects);

·         Culture : (K-Arts, K-Food, K-Sports, Visit Korea, Kid’s Corner);

·         K-Film Online;

·         Korea Sale Festa;

·         Multimedia (Photos, Audios and Videos of events organised in the framework of the cooperation between Cameroon and Korea) ;

·         Contact (Phone numbers and area to send messages to the Embassy : your name, your email address, the subject of your message, your message, click on send);

2-2 The website should include an imagery that redirects the visitor to the Facebook page of the Embassy when he clicks on it.

2-3 The website should make it possible for visitors to react to (like, love, hate) and comment content posted on the website using their Facebook accounts ;

2-4 The website should be very attractive, available in English, in French and in Korean languages.

2-5 The website should allow for visitors to give their email addresses so that they can receive the Newsletter;

2-6 The successful company shall design and make the logo of the website of the Embassy.

2-7 The successful company shall train one staff of the Embassy so that he/she can manage and update the website easily with no technical knowledge.

The website is and remains the exclusive property of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Cameroon.

3-      Eligibility criteria 

The Company should:

-          Be specialised in the development of websites similar to the one the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Cameroon is expecting. In this respect, the Company should provide the relevant supporting documents;

-          Be registered with the competent authorities (submit the commercial register) ;

-          Provide a tax clearance certificate;

-          Provide a certificate from the National Social Insurance Fund (CNPS) that is up to date;

-          Have at least five years of proven experience in the domain;

4-      Technical file

In addition to the portfolio that interested Companies should send, the technical file shall comprise a list of references presented as follows:

Reference of the contract	Description of the activity	Amount of the contract in CFA Francs	Name of the beneficiary company	Physical address and email address of the beneficiary company	Address of the website developed

 

5-      Financing

The services, subject of this call for proposals are financed from the budget of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Cameroon.

6-      Place of performance of the contract

The place of performance of the contract, in the event of a collaboration, is the town of Yaounde.

No reservations would be permitted to this call for proposals.

Any reservation will result in immediate refusal of the proposal concerned without its even being examined.

7-      Duration of the contract

The duration of the contract is one year.

8-      Deadline for the submission of proposals

To apply, interested Companies are kindly requested to send their fully completed applications by email to cameroon@mofa.go.kr no later than October 20, 2020 at 4 p.m. sharp.

The technical file of the service provider must include the following documents:

-          The commercial register in relation to the subject of the qualification;

-          A tax clearance certificate that is up to date.

9-      Announcement of the result

The Embassy reserves the right to announce the result to the successful Company, and is exempted from the obligation of informing the other applicants of the outcome of their proposals.

10-  Clarification 

Any bidding company that will seek to organize a meeting with an employee of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Cameroon during period of the call for proposals shall be eliminated from the process.
