JOB DESCRIPTION

 Are you passionate about transforming lives and bringing change? Royalty world is a faith-based grassroots and non-profit organization promoting social change through a transformation from within. The Restore Her Dignity Project seeks to restore the economic, social, and environmental self-worth of the African woman who is pivotal to the development of communities. This project addresses improper menstrual health hygiene management in crisis times. ROYALTY WORLD is looking for a programs coordinator for “The Restore Her Dignity program”. The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training based on individual projects in which they may be asked to participate in order to enhance their capacity and skills.

 

        PROGRAMS COORDINATOR  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

? Identify, develop and coordinate all outreaches and activities to achieve the Goals of the Restore Her Dignity Program and specific projects.

? Plan programs, campaigns from start to finish, including identifying processes, deadlines, and milestones 

? Schedule program work, oversee daily operations, coordinate the activities of the program, and set priorities for managing the program.

? Plan, purchase or approve the purchase of equipment and supplies needed by the staff, volunteers, and other program stakeholders.

? Prepare or assist in the preparation of grant requests and funding continuation from outside sponsors to achieve specific annual goals.

? Propose and assist in designing Menstrual Health educational material to aid the expansion of our reach to more girls in communities.

? Develop, approve and monitor operations and budgets.

? Prepare financial statements and maintain records pertaining to program activities.

? Manage marketing and outreach to the community.

? Mobilize volunteers and human resources needed for effective community outreach.

? Lead large group discussions to answer questions and remedy complaints.

? Maintain partners and funders records.

? Prepare periodic activity reports for key stakeholders.

? Follow up of newly reached community members.

? Ensure Social media platforms are updated to reflect current activities and impact. 

? Perform other duties as assigned by hierarchy

 

 

PROGRAMS COORDINATOR REQUIREMENT

 

? At least BSc in Management or related field of study

? Knowledge of project management and development procedures

? Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

? Attention to detail and problem-solving skills 

? Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize

? Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

? Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software
