QHSE Advisor

Key Responsibilities :

1.       Ensure that the performance of the QHSE Management System is reviewed at planned intervals

2.       Provide support for QHSE Objectives set up and review

3.       Provide support for QHSE Training needs identification & implementation program,

4.       Provide support for supplier’s evaluation & monitoring,

5.       Establish, review & Upgrade QHSE Documents & maintain relevant records,

6.       Ensures QHSE Events are Recorded & Investigated (Non-Conformities, Accidents, Incidents etc…) / Monitor Corrective & Preventive actions implementation,

7.       Establish & Implement Internal Audit Programs

8.       Collect, Monitor & Analyze processes Key Performance Indicators,

9.       Provide support for customer satisfaction survey programs,

10.   Implement Environmental Aspects & Impacts management programs,

11.   Implement Health & Safety risk management programs,

12.   Set up & Implement Emergency Procedures.

13.   Provide HSE Support for daily critical Activities & Ensure procedures /standards are respected.

14.   Provide Support/ Contribution to respond calls for tenders

 

Required Competencies (skills, experience, knowledge):

1.       Minimum 2 years of general experience within the Quality, health, safety and environment field.

2.       Specific experience in developing, managing and auditing of HSSEQ Management Systems.

3.       In-depth understanding of international standards (ISO 9001/14001 /45001/ 22000) and procedures and makes appropriate decisions based on this knowledge.

4.       Experience in accident and incident investigation

5.       A team player, with strong collaborative and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people tactfully and effectively.

6.       Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.

7.       Good command of the English & French language (written/ spoken).

8.       Software expertise in Microsoft Excel and Word is essential. Knowledge in other MS Office package is an advantage

 

Qualifications/Certificates :

1.       Bsc / Msc Degree in QHSE Field with a background of Biochemistry or Biology.

2.       Nebosh Certificate is an advantage

3.       Internal Auditor Qualification
