Purpose of the Role:

The Operations Support role is to support the entire Rollout project.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• As an Operational Support staff, you will be able to:
• Use automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources.
• Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
• Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary.
• Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.
• Processing confidential data and information according to company guidelines.
• Helping develop reports and analysis for various business departments.
• Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
• Generating reports from single or multiple systems.
• Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
• Training end-users on new reports and dashboards.
• Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
• Using advanced skills and tools to automate existing business processes.
• Complete all other business instructions as per management requirement.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or technical qualification.
• 3-5 years’ experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
• Ability to analyse existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
• Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
• High-level written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Skills in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Power BI and Power Query.

• Communicate clearly and concisely with all levels in the organization.
• Preferred Telecommunications Experience. Knowledge of Telecommunications Equipment eg. Rectifiers, batteries, generators, diesel management, Electrical connectivity, security solutions and reporting will be advantageous.
