One (01) SOFTWARE ENGINEER – BACK END DEVELOPER (INFO 005)

Mission

 

?     Back-End developer responsibilities include designing and developing high-volume, low-latency, secure, high-availability and performing applications for mission-critical systems.

 

?     Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.

 

?     Write well designed testable, efficient, secure code.

 

?     Ensure designs comply with specifications.

 

?     Prepare and produce releases of software components.

 

?     Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives, technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

 

Profile required

 

?         Team Player

 

?         Passion for releasing bug free code.

 

?         Proven hands-on Software Development experience;

 

?         Understand the pros and cons of client side caching and edge caching

 

?         Experience in Big Data and Distributed Systems.

 

?         Experience and passion for system architecture design.

 

?         Proven working experience in Java development environment;

 

?         Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms;

 

?         Object-Oriented analysis and design using common enterprise design patterns;

 

?         Profound insight of Java 8 and JEE internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction Management, SOAP and REST Web Services, JMS, etc.);

 

?         Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate);

 

?         Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (Polymer & Web Components, NPM, Brower sync or Web Pack, Sencha GXT, GWT, Reactive programming, UI Responsive design, JavaScript, XHR, …);

 

?         Experience with continuous integration tools: Git, Maven, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Bamboo, Jenkins, Bit Bucket and Artifactory; with Docker, Containers or Kubernetes;

 

?         Experience with test-driven development; in collaboration tools/methodologies: Agile, JIRA, Wiki.

 

?         Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment.

 

 

 

Extra Credit if you have:

 

Java EE (CDI & EJB)/ Hibernate (JPA)/ JavaScript, CSS.
