SSCI PROFESSIONAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM 2020

 

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

 

A.   Introduction

 

SSCI Cameroon, within its framework of promoting young talents, curbing unemployment rate in Cameroon and boosting security awareness in Cameroon, is organizing a Free Professional Internship Program for 10 young persons who shall be trained and equipped with sufficient skills to make them ready for the job market. At the end of the program, candidates may be recruited to work with SSCI Cameroon if they wish and also depending on their performance.

 

The Training is open to both students and non-students (see Requirements below)

D.    Requirements

 

1.    Administrative Assistants and Secretaries

 

i.              At least GCE Advanced Level or Equivalent

 

ii.             Basic Computing Skills

 

iii.            A Smartphone and Personal Computer

 

iv.           Any sex

 

v.            Aged Between 19 to 28

 

vi.           Bilingualism is a bonus

 

 

 

2.    Security Controllers

 

vii.          At least GCE Advanced Level or Equivalent

 

viii.         Basic Computing Skills

 

ix.            A Smartphone

 

x.             Physically upright

 

xi.            Males ONLY

 

xii.           Aged between 25 to 30

 

xiii.          Bilingualism is a bonus

 

 

 

3.    Digital Security Experts

 

i.              At least GCE Advanced Level or Equivalent

 

ii.             Advanced Computing Skills

 

iii.            A Smartphone and personal computer

 

iv.           Physically upright

 

v.            Males ONLY

 

vi.           Bilingualism is a bonus

 

 

 

 

 

4.    Canine (K9) Masters

 

i.              At least GCE Ordinary Level or Equivalent

 

ii.             Comfortable around dogs

 

iii.            Physically upright

 

iv.           Males ONLY

 

 

 

 

 

E.    Application

 

 

 

i.              File Composition:

 

1.    Handwritten application addressed to the General Manager of SSCI Cameroon.

 

2.    Photocopy of National Identity Card

 

3.    Photocopy of highest Certificate

 

4.    Curriculum Vitae

 

 

 

ii.             Application Process

 

1.    Complete Application files should be deposited at the head office of Shepherd Security and Consultancy Opposite PCSS Buea Town on or before the 3^rd of March 2020 at 4PM

 

 

 

2.    Application files can also be sent through the SSCI Online Application System at www.ssci.dx.am  on or before the 3^rd of March 2020 at 11:59PM.

 

NB: Hard copies must be presented if selected for interview

 

 

 

3.    Candidates who meet the requirements shall be contacted for an Interview at the Head Office in Buea.

 

 

 

4.    Only successful Candidates shall proceed with the Training Program
