Technical Services Manager - Mining - West Africa

Opening for a Senior Manager in the technical team from either Geology or Mining background specialised in resource estimation and life of mine planning at an operating mine site in West Africa.

The role is responsible for teams including ST, MT and LT deposit planning, grade control, resources development, sampling protocols / drilling and dispatch.

The company are looking for a person who is experienced at Manager level though they will also consider someone who is ready to take the next step in their career. This is a site-based position in West Africa which has an open pit deposit.

Role & Experience:

• Degree qualification in Geology / Mining Engineering or equivalent
• Experienced working on a mine site – preferably open pit and in diverse teams
• Experience in resource estimation & life of mine planning
• Ideally experience at Manager level but must have a lot of experience in supervising technical teams
• Expereince working on remote and multicultural sites internationally on a FIFO basis

Salary & Package:
