Brite Academy International (BAI) is an education and career management company that promotes online learning as a complement for traditional classroom training for students covering the curricula for secondary through high school, to university. Brite also trains and prepares students, graduates and young employees with skills, practical trainings and mentorship needed for the 21st century job market.

The Traineeship Program is a practice-oriented training program at Brite Academy International, Buea. The 6 months study program focuses predominantly on acquiring practical IT and business management skills alongside personal development encompassing different concepts, approaches and aspects, ranging from supporting small businesses coping with survival up to promoting innovative, dynamic enterprises which can deal with intelligent decision-making tools and methodologies.

Building an exceptional professional career in today’s fast changing business economy is a universally desirable priority of everyone who wants to excel professionally.  The traineeship program offers individuals the platform to build an exceptional and fulfilling career in their different fields of specialty. The training program will immerse young professionals into different functional areas where they will have hands-on experiences in their various work assignments. This traineeship program has been designed using the experience of experts in the IT and business world and provides practical solutions and tools which in turn allows trainees to gain practical skills, confidence, network and increase awareness in personal development, IT and computer knowledge, operations, marketing, business development, data analysis, corporate communication, leadership, project management, Africa Continental Free trade Area and sustainable development goals (SDGs).

PURPOSE

We are looking for a traineeship facilitator to prepare, coordinate, implement and evaluate the BAI TRAINEESHIP programs.

The Training Facilitator responsibilities include marketing the program, designing courses and bringing on board required expertise to deliver on the various modules, maintaining records of curriculum and materials, gathering feedback on the quality of trainings from trainees and instructors and BAI management.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

·         Minimum Qualification: MSc/MBA in Entrepreneurship, Economics, Business Management, Management, IT, or any computer related field

·         Required Experience:  Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in the field of IT, Business management, project management

·         You should be familiar with various training techniques for different specialties (especially business and IT) and skill sets.

·         Previous experience as a Training Facilitator, Training Coordinator or similar role

·         Knowledge of traditional and modern educational/ training techniques

·         Ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)

·         Familiarity with Talent Management and career paths

·         Excellent communication and organizational skills
